time flies

Where has the month gone? I can't believe it's already going to be February, the best month EVAAAHHHHH simply because it's my birthday month :)

I've been sick allll week. Well, it's kinda a hit and miss, mostly HIT :/ Like I'll be sick one day, and the next I'm fine, then I'm sick again the following day, than I'm fine the next. I can't figure it out. BUTTTT on a positive note, this week marks 16 weeks! I'm officially 4 months pregnant, which is when the morning sickness is suppose to subside. Crossing my fingers that every other day of feeling good turns into EVERYDAY, HEEEEYYYY!!!!

Thanks to the cool apps I downloaded, I get to keep up with baby's progress weekly. Here's what baby is up to at 4 months...

A growth spurt? Have I not grown enough? I feel like a house already.

see!!!! a HOUSE :/ this baby is going to have me literally rolling around.

Sick and Tired of being SICK and TIRED :/

Today marks 15 weeks and I'm STILL sick with morning sickness. Why do they call it morning sickness anyways? I'm sick all morning, noon and night.. I'm not exaggerating either. Since I've been pregnant, I've had horrible headaches that are accompanied with shoulder and neck pains, I'm nauseous all day, I throw up at least once a day, sometimes twice, I sneeze more than I've ever have, and my noses is always stuffy. My Dr. says it's safe to take Tylenol for my headaches and even suggested that I take a tylenol with Coca-Cola, the caffeine is suppose to help ease the tension. So best believe I take a tylenol daily with some Coke, it's a hit and miss, it doesn't work all the time, but it's always worth a shot, ANYTHING to get rid of my headaches. Then there's my nausea, I was given this tablet to help with nausea. You don't just swallow the tablet down with water, you have to let it dissolve under your tongue... well lemme teeeeellll you, the tablet tastes GROSS! I almost threw up as it was dissolving. Nonetheless, it helped a bit with the nausea.

People ask me 'How's your pregnancy going?' I'm always honest by telling them 'I hate it!, I hate being pregnant!' It definitely hasn't been fun whatsoever. My experience has been full of sickness. I hope and pray that I can enjoy AT LEAST a couple of months being pregnant without being sick. I do know how blessed I am and what we will have at the end of the tunnel, so that keeps my spirits high through all the madness.

14 weeks

This week marks 14 weeks, and being sick for 14 weeks makes it feel like 14 months :/ But nonetheless, baby is still doing it's thing in there. I downloaded 2 cool apps on my iPhone to follow baby's progress. So here's what I've learned about being 14 weeks...

Cute to know baby is making facial expressions, cause I make tons myself :) but peeing? That's a little weird to know baby is laying in it's own pee. However, I do hope to see some thumb sucking on my next ultrasound... That'll be fun!

two lines vs. one line

November 15th changed my life forever...

A couple weeks prior to that day, I was having major bad cramps and my breast were super sore. I was also tired ALL.THE.TIME. which lead me to think one thing... I'm definitely starting my period (TMI) but true. I waited and waited as the days that turned in to weeks went by, NOTHING, no period, no sign of spotting, NOTHING! Except for of course the ongoing symptoms I was feeling, which by that time I started to feel all kinds of different symptoms in addition to the ones I was already feeling, nausea, headaches and no energy to do anything. So a light bulb went off, I have to be coming down with something... I immediately thought I was coming down with the stomach flu, BUT considering I didn't start my period yet, I had to rule out one thing ...  pregnancy :/

It was now November 15th, I got home from work, fed my dog, fed my own face and called Todd (my boyfriend) to let him know what I was up to. After asking if I were ok and if I needed anything he said 'Ok, call me the minute you take the test' No one knew but him and I, not even my bestie... So I took the test, it said to give it a few minutes before reading the results, so I waited, and waited, and waited,  it felt like FOREVER... of course while I'm pacing back and forth, I kept glancing down on the bathroom counter, I saw one line (one line is a negative, two lines is positive) I was relieved, but I gave it another second, YES, just one more second... I looked down, and saw TWO lines... IMMEDIATELY I picked up the stick and panicked, I kept saying 'OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH' I said it about 100 times. I cried in between a few OH MY GOSHes.. but I had to gather myself to call Todd. Nope, I sure didn't listen to him when he said to call him the minute I take the test, instead I called him when I got the results.

I called and said 'I took the test' he responds 'should I sit down for this?' I said 'YUP!' He automatically knew. We were both in shock and couldn't believe were having a BABY!
Til this day we are still in shock, but extremely HAPPY!

We will be 14 weeks tomorrow and baby is due July 16th.

it's about time!

I FINALLY recovered my password and I'm able to blog again. Now that I have more time on my hands and much more to blog about, I plan to keep this blog life alive.

The past year flew so fast, and the holidays flew by even faster. I'm grateful to have spent it with family and that we're all healthy! Mom was in Samoa for the holidays, it was our first time spending the holidays without her and oh how different it was. Dad was lost without her, but kept a good poker face. Thank goodness she's home safely and dad is back to normal lol

I have much to share about how my life has shifted gears. I'm muey excited and muey nervous all at the same time. So hang on to your panties, there will be details soon!!!
